In Different Rooms
Harmaton in everyday spaces.
"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration."
Calming acoustic stimuli appear to support the body's relaxation response — interrupting mental loops, anchoring attention, helping the breath settle. The mechanism is well-described in nervous-system research; the specific therapeutic claims around tuning frequencies are less so.
Harmaton is tuned to 528 Hz — a frequency long used in sound-healing traditions, where many proponents associate it with reduced stress and a sense of calm. The scientific evidence for those specific claims is limited; we treat 528 Hz as a meaningful cultural choice rather than a medical one.
What we can say plainly: a real wooden chime resonating in your room sounds and feels different from a phone speaker.
Where Wood and Technology Harmonize
The Harmaton MK1 — Precision Inside, Warmth Outside
Custom CNC components and a 3D-printed bracket. No plastic body. No app dependency. A precision instrument for breathwork, focus, and the work desk — accurate, reliable acoustics every time.
"Harmaton grew from my passion for nature, design, and mindful living. It's more than a tool — it's an invitation to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with what matters."
Marko Berkeš is an architect and software engineer — but he built Harmaton not as a product, but as a personal answer. An answer to the constant pull of screens. A slow-tech, self-care object for the work desk. Harmaton is what he wanted on his own.
With roots in both digital product design and hands-on prototyping, every element — from the choice of materials to the precision of its internal mechanism — reflects a commitment to simplicity, quality, and presence.

Ready to Bring Presence Back into Your Day?
Each Harmaton is built individually in our studio. Limited production. Order yours and it arrives ready to chime.
The chime is warm and rich, not piercing — closer to a singing bowl than an alarm. It's audible across a room but not designed to carry through walls. Most users find it doesn't disturb others working in the same space.
How is it powered?
USB-C. The cable and adapter are included. No charging — plug it in and it stays on. Power draw is negligible.
Does it need Wi-Fi or an app?
No. Harmaton is fully offline. There is no app, no account, no cloud sync. The single rotary knob does everything.
What's in the box?
The Harmaton MK1, a USB-C cable, a power adapter, EU or US - determined by the shipping address, a printed quick-start guide, and a premium hardbox suitable for gifting.
What if it breaks?
Send it back. We'll repair it. No warranty card, no time limit — if you own a Harmaton and something fails, we make it right. For the first 14 days you can also return a defective unit for a full replacement.
Will there be a Harmaton MK2?
Yes — a few more models are in development. The MK1 will continue to be supported, repaired, and never made obsolete by what comes next. Subscribe to Studio Notes for updates.
